Harkham Restaurant is a new Italian eatery in Pokolbin, New South Wales, owned by Richie Harkham, who also runs Harkham Wines. Open for lunch, dinner, and snacks, the menu offers a range of Italian dishes, including antipasti, pasta, pizza, mains, sides, and desserts. Enjoy a full bar with wines, beers, and cocktails while taking in stunning views of the Hunter Valley vineyards. The restaurant is conveniently located near other wineries and attractions, making it ideal for day trips or weekend getaways. Iron Gate Kitchen is the brand new, purpose-built restaurant at Iron Gate Estate in the Hunter Valley. Opening for lunch from 15 May and breakfast from 20 May, the restaurant showcases fresh, seasonal produce and bold Iberian flavours. Executive Chef Joey Ingram’s relaxed, rustic approach to Mediterranean cuisine is designed for sun-drenched dining, with a focus on wood, smoke, fire and the grill. The menu follows Mediterranean tradition—designed to share, encouraging guests to slow down and savour the afternoon. Dine surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean-inspired architecture, just steps from where our estate-grown wines are made—perfectly paired with your meal.We reserve a number of tables daily for walk-ins, and online bookings close 30 minutes before service. Feel free to swing by—if we’ve got space, we’ll make it work. No need to call!

    Our second visit to this wonderful restaurant in a short period and again it delivered. The food is excellent and great value for money and the service is great as well. If you're visiting the Hunter I would definitely recommend a visit here and don't be afraid of ordering pasta as it's really really good.

    Unfortunately there was delays with food from entree to main which left about a hour before next serving. Good to have a little break but not that long. Overall food was amazing size proportions are slightly on the smaller side even for a 3 course meal. I think overall it was amazing but value was slightly costly at 140 per person

    Such a lovely afternoon, tea was perfect. Will definitely be going back. If you are looking for a picture perfect venue then Kirkton Park should be your choice.

    We dined with our kids and family and had an outstanding experience. We had booked ahead, and the service was excellent - the staffs were polite, professional, and took the time to explain the menu to us. Every meal we ordered was delicious, and we truly enjoyed our time. Thank you for making it a wonderful family dining experience.
