Restaurants near Roding Valley Station

Always having the best time at TDH’s, we were very well looked after by everyone, the food was really nice, fresh and tasty. This is a favourite restaurant of our family.

We had a lovely family meal for Father’s Day. It was busy and there was a long wait for our food however when it came, it was absolutely delicious. The giant Yorkshire puddings were yummy but we couldn’t finish and the bread sauce and tender chicken was delicious.

The food at Namak was amazing - Indian food done right. The perfect level of spice in all the dishes and a real death of flavour. To start we had the chilli paneer and the samosa chat. The chilli paneer was one of the best I’ve ever had, a nice kick and crispy paneer in a thick sauce. The samosa chat had so many different ingredients in it including pomegranate, blueberries and chickpeas, different sauces but everything complemented eachother so well. The mains I had the paneer tikka and the dahl as I’m veggie - the dahl had a lovely death of spice and you could tell it had been cooked for a long time. My partner had the lamb shank curry - the meal fell of the bone and had been cooked to perfection. Barely any fat on it. The rice and roti complemented the dishes perfectly. The service was brilliant, the waiters were so attentive but not overbearing. The Atmosphere was buzzing and had a range of different ages and backgrounds which shows it’s a very popular restaurant. We will definitely be going back to Namak many times in the future, can’t recommend enough if you want an authentic, modern Indian restaurant and want to excite your tastebuds!

The food was delicious sea bass cooked to perfection. The staff were outstanding nothing was too much trouble for them. There was a DJ was a surprise and played great music. There was a dancer who entertained everyone and got clapping and enjoying the show. I’ll definitely be going back there and would highly recommend it.
