Restaurants near Rochester Riverside Convention Center

The host was very arrogant upon our arrival as we arrived 14 minutes late to our reservation. I had called earlier to say we were running late as we have a toddler and an infant in our party of four, but that we’d get there within the 15 minute grace period, and we did. When we arrived, we were told that our table was given to other guests who ‘honored’ their reservation and that we’d have to wait. Only after I told him “grace period” meant he’s supposed to hold our table for us 15 minutes after our reservation that he took us to an already empty table. Pure rudeness. It’s not like I was late deliberately. He clearly just wanted to be mean by making us wait with two hungry kids ‘just because he wanted to’ but couldn’t do it because we were legit there. Other than that, everything was great. The host needs to chill.

Excellent food and service. Veneto Sunday Sauce is so very special. Authentic. Genuine. So very good. We really appreciate the personable and kind service by Jessica. A wonderful dinner experience.

Everything was really good, but would share the food (famiky style) next time.
