Restaurants near Roberts Chapel

Absolutely delicious! It was our first time visiting the restaurant and we will definitely return. Eager to try other things on the menu. I had a stuffed sweet potato that was amazing!

It was a beautiful night for the patio. Our waitress was excellent, I think her name was Erin.

We were seated within a couple minutes of our actual reservation time. After we were seated, we asked to see the wine and beer list as it was not on the table. The cocktail menu was available immediately I ordered a cosmopolitan and my husband ordered a drink from the cocktail list. We waited a very long time to receive our drinks so long that our salads arrive before the drinks! Our meal was delicious. We chose the walleye fish which was a large serving and very tasty. It’s not always easy to get such good fish in the Midwest. The mashed potatoes were a bit watery so I did not finish those. My husband enjoyed his French fries which arrived hot and tasty! The salads just average. We did not receive any bread until our entrées arrived which is also unusual. The service was fine and it was nice to see our anniversary mentioned in chalk on the front steps. It was a very nice touch. The restaurant was a little bit too noisy for us, but we still enjoyed our experience. Will definitely return for the delicious fish!

The food and ambience is first rate as always! Absolutely love 1933 in Carmel, the only disappointing thing was the service. Our waitress just wasn’t as attentive or with it as I’m used to having at this restaurant. Didn’t clear dirty dishes, didn’t bring us water, disappeared for long periods of time where we couldn’t get things. She crazily messed up our bill and was persuading us to split the bill instead of doing things separately for us. It was a huge hassle. I really put a damper on the night. But that is not the norm. I recommend 1933!

We enjoyed the waterfront view and had a very nice dinner.
