We had a lovely table for our special occasion lunch right by the big window. The six of us ordered multiple dishes from the hot and cold mezze and enjoyed every single one. My son said the chicken kabob was “the best chicken I have ever eaten in my life.” The zucchini pancakes, roasted Brussels sprouts and Labneh with zaatar were standouts for us, and the hot puffy bread of course. The pides had good flavor but just a tad too much cheese on top for us. Service was very friendly and efficient. Thank you for making our lunch memorable.

I’ve been here so many times because the food and service are always immaculate. Unfortunately, last night was not the greatest service. Our waiter was not attentive and kind of pushy/rushed. We orders drinks and appetizers, didn’t take our entree order until we were almost done with our appetizers. Once the food came out the waiter never came back until I asked a busboy for utensils. The waiter came over and questioned me..”I gave them to you”. Unfortunately, when they were cleaning the table they took our silverware. The ribeye steak didn’t come with any sides and the menu description does not really make sense. For an extra $6 you get a hot stone plate and they remove all the sides from it. That was never explained, I would’ve ordered something else. The hosts were having their own chat, didn’t even say goodbye. Professionalism in the restaurant industry needs some help for D’leña to continue being the best spot. I will be back but will continue looking to Troy as he is the best.

If your travel plans include a stay in the D.C. area, we highly recommend this restaurant in your dinner plans. Comfortably upscale, yet with a casual vibe, we were grateful we had asked at our hotel for a few dining recommendations. Everything about our dinner visit here more than met our expectations. The two of us ordered different cocktails, appetizers and main entrees, and we thought they each matched the menu descriptions with the presentation and taste profiles exceedingly good. I truly have nothing negative to report. The wait staff were cordial, professional and appropriately conversational. The noise level was that of a comfortable level, with the space between tables / booths allowing for ease of conversation without craning to hear the person on the other side of the table! Again, our experience there left us with all good memories. We highly recommend adding this to your dining plans if in the area. We would definitely dine there again when we return.

Amazing experience. Food is always good. I’ve been here many times but this time I brought my parents who have mobility issues. Staff treated as if they were part of their family. Holding doors, helping up them up or down stairs, or slowing down. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
