Recent upgrades have added positively to the atmosphere. The owners were there to say hello and insure quality service. Table service was excellent and the food was delicious

They nail the food and service every time. Incredible cheese curds, octopus, & jalapeño corn soup got things started. Perfectly seared steak with a slightly spicy green chili sauce made the Carne Asada a new favorite. Items on their menu I think are top of the list in St. Louis - cheese curds, O+O Burger, Cowboy Ribeye, fries, Caesar salad and Butterscotch Pot De Creme.

My husband & I were celebrating our birthdays, which are one day apart in Sept. We had a fabulous meal. Jack , our waiter was very nice & attentive! We both just love the ribeye steak there and especially the au jus that is ladled onto the plate. I just love the added flavor so much that I never want to order steak from any place, as I would be missing the au jus!. The pear tree viniagrette dressing is my favorite for the salad, and the Twisted Shrimp is our appetizer every time! We may need to mix it up sometime, but we always seem to order the same items. ALways a great experience at Twisted Tree!

This was my second time in a week at 801 Local, and it is becoming my favorite restaurant in the city. The food was amazing. The Parker House rolls were unbelievable. The scallops were phenomenal. And the chocolate cake was perfection. My server Michael was exceptional and took great care of me. The manager Tabor even came by my table to see how I was doing. I can’t wait to return!

The service by the employee's on Valentines Day was excellent. We have always enjoyed the Valentines Day Dinner.
