Restaurants near Residence Inn Palo Alto Los Altos

I had my mom's birthday luncheon at Pacific Catch, Mountain View. We sat in the outdoor area that has plastic curtains around it. It was great because it was quiet and we could hear each other, despite being at a table for 8. The food was excellent. Some of us wanted the Asian fusion dishes and some went for traditional cheeseburger or fish and chips. Everyone loved their food! The service was outstanding. I had brought a birthday cake and the staff was so wonderful to bring it out, along with dessert plates and forks. The lunch was a success and I was so happy I picked Pacific Catch.

Our party of 3 was very fortunate to have Sophie for our server. She attended to our needs without being asked and was very pleasant in her interactions with us. We hope to see her again the next time! Our dinners were excellent, with two of our orders being the lobster roll. The charred broccolini, asparagus, and crispy artichoke were also very tasty. Our meal was topped off with an excellent butterscotch brûlée! The restaurant is very elegant, and suitable for very special occasions or simply a dinner out with friends.

We have been to different locations of Il Fornaio over the years. The food is good and service as well. It is a nice place for special occasion or a date. I wouldn't consider it as a place for families with young kids but that doesn't mean they aren't allowed. The price was average for an upscale restaurant

The hamachi shots and popcorn crab were delicious, as were the NY strip and chocolate bomb. The server, Trang, was excellent.

Great food and service. Would definitely go back!
