We came for Restaurant Week, the Bristol by landslide had one of the top 3 menus. I had made lots of reservations for KCRW without knowing the menu. Once menu's were published I cancelled 90% of them. I've been going to the Bristol since I was in grade school & it was on the Plaza. We've always had amazingly good seafood (very picky as grew up on East Coast) and impeccable service. Our waitress Mikayla was an absolute pleasure! We had a great meal & were able to enjoy our drinks and appetizers without feeling rushed. Be back soon.

It is one of the best restaurants in town. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly.

We ate here during restaurant which allowed us to have a 4 course meal at $45.00 and it did not disappoint. The food was fabulous in a chic atmosphere. The gnocchi was the best I have ever had, small soft melt-in-your-mouth ball of gnocchi. My husband had the Brussel sprouts which were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The caesar and modern salads were both fresh and light. The veal and salmon were both the perfection. All of the courses were accompanied by wine recommendations. The Italian wine pairing for the entrees was outstanding. Finally the meal ended with wonderfully flavored and light tiramisu. I highly recommend Plate Italiano Modern in Leawood. It was delicious

Wonderful place and beautiful new addition they have added on makes the bar outstanding. Food is always awesome! Service was impeccable! Only suggestions are that if you have specials menu and multiple people at a table that you have plenty of menus so that we are not having 1 around and wait? Also, the restaurant week special was very nice, but the constant upcharge of items ( sides, zucca chips, dessert) was a little disappointing-in very fine print so beware! Parking is also challenging so leave time for that. Very nice that they do separate checks for our large group. They were very efficient!

Very delicious food and outstanding service for lunch. Especially considering they were slammed for Restaurant Week. It helped to have a reservation as there was quite a wait. My friend and I both did the RW menu and ordered salads, Campo chicken and the braised beef risotto. Our waitress was killing it! She even boxed all of our leftovers and sauces in little containers and wrapped those with Saran Wrap. We will definitely come back for dinner. I’ll be craving the baba ghanoush.
