- BBlairIdaho •21 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur server Savannah was fantastic- very attentive, knowledgeable, and lovely to chat with. The old school steakhouse atmosphere is charming. By far one of the best steaks we’ve had in Boise, charbroiled with a nice crust (not your bland suvee shortcut that most use nowadays). Everything was great, will highly recommend and we’ll be back soon!More infoBaraboo Supper ClubPrice: Expensive• American• Boise•4.6
- MMichaelIdaho •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was amazing! As appetizers, we had the spicy shrimp and the BBQ shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection. The medley of flavors was delightful. Next came Ceasar salads. I ask if they could add chicken to mine. Our waitress said she would talk to the chef. When the salads were brought out, mine had a full chicken breast on it. It was the juiciest chicken breast I have ever had. There was the perfect amount of ingredients. Truly a delight. Now the main course. We ordered the Porterhouse for two with garlic mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. We added the Alaskan king crab as well. We ordered the steak medium, and it came out exactly that. Not medium rare, not medium well, but right dead center at medium. My best and sincerest compliments to the chef. The steak was full of flavor, tender and juicy. It was brought out on a 500 degree plate, which kept it warm from start to finish. The crab legs were cooked again to perfection. The mashed potatoes were creamy and full of flavor as well. I am not a fan of brussel sprouts, but the way they were cooked opened my horizons. They were slightly crispy and very tender. Mixed in with them were sauteed onions and bacon. A delight for the taste buds. For dessert, I had the chef's special southern pecan pie ala mode. My dinner guest had the peanut butter cake. Both were wonderful and made our taste buds dance! Now on to the staff. We were greeted at the door by the Maitre'd. Very cordial and welcoming. Our hostess was very sweet and made mild inquiries to generate small talk. The wait staff was friendly, accommodating, and very attentive. They kept an eye on our table and, as we were done with each course, appeared in a very timely manner to clear plates and utensils. We were then allowed some time for our food to settle and have some conversation. Their timing was impeccable. We asked for several requests and I feel the staff bent over backwards to conform to our wishes. It was an incredible dining experience!!More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - BoisePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Boise•4.8

- LLucilleIdaho •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoOur second experience at The Avery was even better than the first. The ambiance is great. Nice and quiet very relaxing. The food was outstanding, and this is very important to me, arrive at our table piping hot. The staff was amazing. I was concerned that I did not put enough coins in the parking meter and Jarred did not hesitate to do it for me when I said I would go and put some more. Much appreciated. Dwayne, our server, was courteous but friendly and professional. And Maddie, the acting manager, was very accommodating when I asked to changer our table. We will certainly go again.More infoThe AveryPrice: Expensive• French American• Boise•4.7
