Restaurants near Red Hill Fire Tower

If you're looking for a lovely scene of the country to have a relaxing dining experience, this is a fine place to satisfy those needs. Service was good, yet the waitress was seemingly a summer gig person - a little nervous and unsure. She tried. Food was good, yet somewhat nconsistent. My wife had trout which was just all right. For me the seafood pasta special with a great sauce, shrimp and sausage was perfect. Dessert was three scoops of vanilla ice cream in a bowl with some Hershey's chocolate sauce on top and a bit of whipped cream. I asked for nuts of some sort and that they brought in as an afterthought. It was called a Sunday. Overall, I would say yes, go. It is a bit high-priced. Two drinks, entrees, dessert including tip was $138 for two.

Another wonderful meal, this time we dined at the bar. The service was on point and the food was exceptional, particularly enjoyed the veal special!

This was our 2nd time back to Mill and Main. This is a very nice, small, local restaurant with a bit of a "Brooklyn" vibe. The menu is varied and the food is well prepared and quite good. In particular, this time we had the mussels in curry sauce, and the sauce was really delicious. Overall a nice choice for dinner when around Kerhonkson.
