For a chain- excellent. Even were it not a chain- excellent. We were celebrating our petite wedding dinner for 8 on a Saturday evening. Server congratulated us upon greeting. Beverages arrived quickly, as dud warm rolls. Team service here - again, excellent. Appetizers arrived within 20 minutes- impressive for a Saturday. Calamari, Wagu meatballs, pork belly- all outstanding and enough to share. Our guests had everything from steak to seafood. 1 steak was undercooked from order but guest said it tasted amazing and kept it. Scallops (5) over risotto with pea emulsion- was superb. Scallops melted in my mouth!! The main negative was we waited a tremendous amount of time for our check- close to 25 minutes, and secondary was the acoustics- very difficult to hear across the rectangle table. Other than that- most definitely recommend!

Always an all around wonderful dining experience. I love the fact that many of the staff members have been there for years. Todd, Drea (and others) always provide exceptional professional and warm service and manager James is a magician keeping so many moving parts running smoothly. The menu features something for everyone and never disappoints. Terrific spot!

We had a wonderful dinner at the Hawkeye Bar & Grill, where the ambiance perfectly complemented the stunning lakeside setting. The food was well-prepared, with a great selection of comfort dishes and regional specialties. The service was attentive and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. The cocktail menu impressed us, and dining on the patio offered a breathtaking view of Lake Otsego. Overall, the Hawkeye Bar & Grill delivered a memorable and satisfying meal in a refined yet cozy atmosphere.

The best restaurant in the Capital Region. Always awesome.
