Our Farm-to-Table Restaurant offers fresh food focused on local sourcing and home-made recipees. Our beef is raised in Holgate, OH and processed locally. The cheese on our boards is made from local, whole milk in Hicksville, OH. We use 100% California olive oil in our oil based dressings - it is not cut with canola/soy/vegetable oils. Our flatbreads come in at less than 30 carbs each. We are known for our cocktails, particularly our Old Fashioneds and our Seasonal Speicialty Drinks. Our building was constructed in 1871, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019 and completely renovated to expose it's historic lines and features in 2021. We are within Defiance's DORA District and directly across from Triangle Park in Defiance's historic downtown. Step back in time, window shop the downtown and then come and dine.     This restaurant is a gem in this small town. Every time I return to the area, I make a reservation. There are many wonderful menu selections and the quality of the food is consistently very good. The wait staff are personal and professional; and the manager has a quiet, caring, presence as he exercises oversight. Excellent all around!

    We had the best waitress, Heather!! We ordered the Parmesan Fires and Egg rolls for appetizers and they were so yummy. Everyone had a different entree, but all were excellent. My son had the Ribeye and raved about how good it was!! ( His birthday treat!)

    Beautiful winery! Tons of seating options, inside and outside. We were there for “Happy Hour” and had delicious wine slushes, walking pork taco and pork sandwich. The food was very good. We will definitely go back! I’m sure in the evening when they have music/entertainers the place would be booming! Very nice atmosphere!
