Had a wonderful waitress name, Marie. She was very attentive and very kind. The food was great. We asked her if the bartender made certain types of drinks and she checked with the bartender and said yes. she’s just very attentive and very good Not to mention the food was excellent. it was just a beautiful day and it was my birthday, so thank you so much for a special birthday.

My wife and I booked a dinner reservation Friday for bar seating, which is always a lot of fun since you get to meet others, as well as have a front row seat to the well orchestra dance of a busy bar. Well the magic and artistry on display at Jake’s was entertaining as well as mesmerizing. Beautifully crafted and creative cocktails flowed out of that bar last night at lightening speed, each one skillfully produced, served up in unusually beautiful glassware and finished with a tasteful flourish or garnish. We even got to meet the house namesake dog, as his owner proudly made his rounds, ensuring the ship was running smoothly. And it certainly was last evening. A very fun and memorable experience. Looking forward to another visit.

Fun and creative cocktails. Beautiful and delicious. Miso soup is fantastic and the rolls were fresh and delicious. Service was great and outdoor seating is lovely with the heaters on.

We had a group of eight and were all very happy with our food and drinks. The service is very attentive, and the restaurant decor is unique and fun. We’ve been there several times and will continue to patronize this place. 

We love eating at the Tropicale. We have never been disappointed. The cocktails were so good. We each tried something different: Grapefruit Martini, Pomegranate Cosmo, Blood Orange Martini, and Lemon Drop. They were each so colorful and delicious. We started with the Pupu Appetizer Platter, more ribs, and the Pork Lettuce Wraps, and bread service. Outstanding! So many unique flavors. My sister and I were full but the guys wanted more so they ordered the fried chicken and the Waygu Steak. Both were delicious! My sister topped off her evening with a chocolate martini. It was fantastic! The atmosphere is always fun and our server was lovely and very attentive! We will come back again and again.
