Restaurants near Putnam Place Shopping Center

Dinner was a large portion and delicious. Our server Sue was exceptional! She was very attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed the delicious shrimp cocktail, salad, steak, chicken paprika and chicken thighs. Our side dishes were roasted potatoes, honey carrots and mashed potatoes. Everything was great! The strawberry margarita and chocolate chip espresso martini were yummy!

Great steak! Worth the trip to New Haven. This was the second time in two weeks while traveling.

Food and wine list are very good and the food preparation was excellent. The whipped chesse was superb.

First time at Gioia, very good will definitely be back

I stopped in by myself for a quick bite to eat. I ended up staying for a few hours, by choice. The food was delicious and the beers were great. I had the Shrimp Lettuce Wraps and the Penne Alla Vodka. The lettuce wraps were amazing, but very messy. The vodka sauce had the right amount of spice and wasn’t too creamy. With that said, the IPAs stole the show. I will definitely be back.
