Restaurants near Punta Allen Dock

Place is loudy and really noisy, food was Ok but not something to be surprised. The staff was very friendly and kind (Kudos for that). Something to think about is the noise from the place in front (music was so loud and awful) and to mitigate the restaurant turn on the volume so you will be trap in the middle of sort of fight to persist)

As a chef, I know how brutal it is to be at the tail end of service, pre-closing checklist in motion, and then… a late table walks in. That was us. 9:30pm reservation, last of the night. Our server was understandably a little firm at first, letting us know the kitchen would close at 10pm and everything would need to come out together. But here’s the thing, they absolutely crushed it. Service softened fast, and she turned out to be incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and warm. Not only did they stagger the plates beautifully, but they let us hang for nearly two hours, drinks flowing, courses rolling, and everything cooked and presented like we were the first guests, not the last. Here’s what we devoured: Focaccia, black garlic, epazote, chipotle That bread was next level. Especially when dipped in the sauce from the ravioli. Smoky, herbaceous, perfect texture. Crispy avocado, sikil pak, pico de gallo, oxalis – Lightly fried, still creamy inside, and that sikil pak was a brilliant earthy contrast. Huitlacoche ravioli, sweet corn, truffle buerre monté, puffed sorghum, corn bubbles – This one hit like a religious experience. Decadent, rich, layered,easily one of the top dishes I’ve had in Tulum. Dipping the focaccia in the truffle corn sauce? Unreal. Quesadilla, queso Oaxaca, white cheddar, black garlic, pumpernickel, fresh truffle Just… wow. Deep, funky, indulgent. Our server told us to eat it with our hands, and damn right she was. One of those “don’t talk to me while I’m eating this” moments. Chicharron, esquites, sweetcorn, BBQ, cotija cheese-This was the one dish I didn’t fully vibe with. I’m a pork belly fanatic, and while the sauce was good, it didn’t quite hit that crispy-fatty-sweet-savory mark I crave. Still solid, but everything else was on another level. The food at Wilde is unapologetically bold, buttery, and beautiful. Yes, it’s heavy. Yes, it’s indulgent. But if you’re coming for refined, soulful, creative plates that scream Mexico this is the place.

once it hits 9 PM the restaurant becomes very club like and busy but the atmosphere was very fun. I think their main focus is the atmosphere and not the food but overall it was a great experience.
