Even though Post is a new name for most of us, it has been an important part of South Hamilton history since 1924. The historic building at 16 Bay Rd. was home to the South Hamilton Post Office, and a place for residents to send and pick up letters. In response to the Great Depression, and a drop in the postage rate (from three cents to 2 cents), the Postmaster added more opportunities for residents to pick up their mail. At Post, which at the time was known as “the brick block building”, letters were piled on a table, and a bell was rung to let residents know that they could come and retrieve their mail. Keeping with that tradition, guests of Post will have an opportunity to “Ring the Bell”, which signifies that they have bought a beer for our hard working kitchen and waitstaff. Whether you are coming in to dine with family and friends, grabbing a drink and an appetizer, or picking up takeout on the way home, Post is here for you – rain or shine.

Fabulous meal. Inventive cuisine, well prepared and delicious (we had tuna tartare, duck and lobster/corn pasta). Service was perfect- friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Sommelier was helpful. Sitting outside was great. Noise level inside seemed pretty loud - my only concern. Thanks for a great experience

Loved it! This was our second visit to Rossetti's and it was way better than the first over a year ago. We made reservations to eat before the show at North Shore Music Theater. When we went before, doing the same thing, service took forever, and we were there way too long. This time, they were so efficient. The waitress even asked if we were going to the show to be sure that we ordered our meals and it was delivered in a timely manner. We did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy the entire meal, including an app, while making it to the show in plenty of time. They served us fresh bread with oil for dipping, which was a yummy start to our night. We ordered the mussels as an appetizer. These were delicious (although there were a couple of sandy ones) and the white wine, garlic, and lemongrass was so flavorable. We love that it came with the bread for dunking and enjoying. The bread had a burnt taste to eat because it was grilled-some people like it that way but I didn't. Since it was so hot out and we were going to the show, we decided to split a dish instead of ending up with leftovers that we couldn't take. The waitress was very accommodating and brought our meal out on two plates!! That was awesome:) We assumed they would have brought it on one with an empty plate. We ordered the Parmigiana, with gnocchi and eggplant...Delicious!!! It was so flavorful and just the right amount of food to not feel too stuffed. The service throughout our night was impeccable. The table was cleared often, including the silverware begin changed in between our appetizer and meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. The food and service were fantastic. We knew we expected to pay a little bit with our meal, but it was worth it as we had enjoyed ourselves so much. Most of the cost in our meal was due to us having wine with our meal. We will definitely be back to enjoy another night at Rossetti's and look forward to trying something else on their menu!

Our first time visiting. Focaccia bread and dipping oil came out first. We then decided on apps so we could try the marinara so we opted for the meatballs and eggplant rollatini. Both were excellent. For dinner we ordered……bolognese, veal marsala and chicken saltimboca. All with homemade fusilli. Large portions. Delicious meals served piping hot. Gina took fantastic care of us. Will be back again for sure.
