Great service, super friendly and accommodating staff. The menu felt somewhat sparing, I miss the croquettes, but the taste was delicious. Would highly recommend.

This was a great find in Galway. Excellent service, very quick. Food was very tasty as were the drinks. A proper cocktail and very good wine which I made a note of. Steak was perfectly cooked. Room is nice, has a warm atmosphere.

Outstanding location (right on the promenade!), excellent menu and food, delightful presentation, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff. The seafood selection was grand!

Wonderful night at the Blackthorn. A beautiful room and a complete revamp of the’ West ‘ . Lovely warm welcome from Fergal and staff . Started off with wine tasting -some German wines . An excellent Riesling and a light fruity red ( ‘Gold’ winery ) Then small sharing plates started arriving. It was the full Blackthorn menu ! everything from the oysters to the steak and black sole and dessert was served . 10/10 on everything, we’ll be back ..
