I drive down from Merseyside to meet friends for lunch in Abersoch. I chose The Potted Lobster based on online reviews, and I'm delighted that I did. The Potted Lobster joins a tiny list of exquisite restaurants that have served me perfectly prepared fish. I ordered the Black Cod with crevette and a bouillabaise sauce. The sauce was full flavoured and the prawns were perfect. These accompanied my piece of fish that was beautifully seasoned on the skin and cooked to that perfect point of being just cooked - flaking easily while still lusciously moist and tender. If you're in the area, this is a restaurant not to be missed.

We were given a nice circular table and we had an amazing meal.

Great hotel in a lovely part of Wales. Staff are all really friendly. Food was amazing. The room was great. Only complaint was the TV had connection issues meaning we couldn’t watch our show of choice, but other than that, no complaints at all. Definitely recommend.

Due to graduation at the University everywhere was fully booked. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us( party of 5 with 2 having mobility issues). Food was good value for money and was prompt. Would visit again
