Always a great experience, delicious food and lovely service.

A really lovely pub, very friendly staff, great service, food was delicious and fabulous value. We’d seen the Sunday roast deal advertised outside when we arrived for the bank holiday weekend in Betws y Coed so we immediately booked and weren’t disappointed. £17 for a beef roast dinner and a pint (or other drink) an absolute bargain. The food was all fresh with loads of slices of beef, roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots, peas, roast parsnips, a massive Yorkshire pudding and lashings of tasty gravy. It’s dog friendly and there is a pool table. We’ll definitely be booking next time we’re in the area, well done to everyone at Pont y Pair.

We were a little disappointed as having Sunday lunch at The Imperial before we booked a table in advance for Sunday lunch today. The table overlooking the promenade was a lovely setting. However we were informed Sunday lunch was not being served and only the normal menu was available. We ordered from this menu and the food was good but we would have booked else where had we been made aware of the changes to the menu.

Great food, the addition of a £35 menu is a great introduction to the style of cuisine. (Some carb needed with the fist was the only minor niggle we had). Second time we've been, had the full tasting menu last time, was superb.

Amazing food, excellent service, caters for vegans and pescatarians. Great value for money. Slightly better than the cottage loaf.
