Perfect view, amazing service team and delicious food and cocktails!

First time here, stopped by for lunch during my work day. Pleasantly surprised by the menu choices and we enjoyed the decor as well.

My wife and I had dinner at Hollins House on Thursday 7/17. The restaurant is only open to the public for dining on Thursdays at this time. Our table was set up outside as were all the other dining tables. The view and overall ambiance at Hollins House are spectacular. You can clearly see the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and, in the distance, the Monterey Peninsula. The weather was very nice during our dinner, although it can get a little chilly depending on the wind and marine layer. They have space heaters which help but I would definitely bring a jacket just in case. They offer fairly extensive wine and cocktail options which gave us ample choices. The dinner menu is somewhat limited although we felt there were enough options. We shared the halibut crudo appetizer which was excellent. We both ended up selecting the prime rib dinner which was very well prepared with excellent sides. We shared a tasty light dessert which was a perfect ending to our meal. We really enjoyed our evening. You can't beat the view, and the overall dining experience was outstanding.

Always a good experience. Food is consistently good and service is always exceptional. Prices are reasonable. Going during happy hours is great. Highly recommended
