Luxe decor and finishes, particularly the upstairs dining room (and even the washrooms), creates a pleasurable and relaxing atmosphere. Downstairs bar is lively, fun and very comfortable, but noise level there can be high. Prices are correspondingly "luxe", but the value is there. Scallops were generously portioned and delicious, especially with the accompanying lobster espuma, potato pave and leeks/mushroom saute. Super high quality salmon and steaks. All beautifully plated and presented. Service was also very professional. Our servers, Christopher and Crystal, were personable, efficient and caring. The attention to detail is what really makes this place a "Cut" above Barringer's -- particularly the wine service. No resistance to providing tastings of premium glasses, and the reds are properly served at cellar temperature instead of room temperature, a distinction seemingly lost on Barringer's management. Generous pours and proper stemware, too. Cut is a keeper and a great addition to the Door County dining scene.

The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the walleye with rice and arugula salad which was lick your fingers scrumptious. My partner had the squid ink linguine and that was also incredible. Service was excellent and we walked out stuffed and happy.

We had a very early reservation (due to the later times being booked already), so we were for awhile the only diners in the restaurant. But the service and food was excellent! The sauce on the scallop entree was spectacular and the Delmonico ribeye was cooked perfectly. Thank you for a lovely evening that allowed for a beautiful walk afterwards.

This is such a cute place with great food! My husband had duck and I had vegetarian stir fry, both of which were delicious. We finished with house made carrot cake which was also delicious! Service was outstanding and this such a friendly, family business. Finally, fun speakeasy cocktails was the finishing touch to a great evening!
