Bhatti Indian Grill is an ultra-authentic north Indian restaurant in the heart of NYC that’s refined yet affordable, upscale and modern. Bhatti opened its doors in 2009 to much fan fare and accolades for the authenticity it brought to indian cuisine. One of the city’s preeminent Indian chefs and restaurateurs, Gaurav Anand of Awadh and Moti Mahal Delux has completely revamped and renovated Bhatti just in time to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. Perennially packed and attracting celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Food Network’s Duff Goldman, Bhatti became a popular dining destination due to its delicious, boldly-flavored food, especially kebabs. For its 10th anniversary, Gaurav wanted the restaurant that set him on a successful restaurant career to get a sexier new look, more elevated menu and an adventurous beverage program including an all natural wine list, befitting the next decade.

Michelin Guide: "Located at the base of the handsome Park South hotel, Sweetbriar a buzzy spot, where well-dressed diners make for enjoyable people watching." Sweetbriar restaurant delivers New American cooking kissed by the flames of a wood-fired grill and a seasonally directed menu that has something for everyone. Love mushrooms? This is the place to partake, since they're sourced from all over the world. Case in point? A Seared maitake mushroom, dressed in a warm parmesan cream sauce with ricotta gnudi and Guanciale chips. Or, start things off light with a crudité of seasonal vegetables with a sweet basil mascarpone before tucking into a heartier house favorite of wood fired spinach dip composed of French gruyere and charred spinach served with wood fire grilled bread .

Wow. You guys took ABUSE BY HOSTESS to a whole new level! After the recent debacle when your girls refused to seat me at a table for TWO "because we only seat full parties" (which is absurd) and made me pace the lobby for 15 minutes (they offered to have a manager EXPLAIN the policy to me....I said that I understood EXACTLY what they were doing) before finally seating me WITHOUT my guest--breaking the "policy"-- (who arrived a few minutes later)...this time you really outdid yourselves. I checked in with the pretty Indian hostess who said she was going to check on my table and zoomed away. She seated other parties in front of me and never made eye contact, never said a word to me, zooming by me at least three times. My reservation was for 8:15. I got there at 8:15 and my friend arrived TWELVE minutes late, well within the 15 minute grace period all restaurants have. We were not seated until 8:47. But I had to repeatedly TACKLE managers in the hallway to make this happen. No hostess spoke to me. I even got scolded by a manager for being "late"...probably what the hostesses told him. Once seated, the waiters were great and the food was delicious. Some tragedy happened with lobster #1 so we had to wait a long time for lobster #2 but that was fine. I am AA "always accommodate" at Balthazar and Pastis and they treat me like a KING. I always get the best banquettes, they seat my friend if she gets there before me, etc. I choose restaurants based on how I'm treated. You food IS better than Keith's BUT why would you embarrass and humiliate a regular customer twice in a row? I also think the Indian girl was getting back at me for reporting her rudeness last time. That is really out of control. Oh yes, and the short Black girl who was at the hostess station told me "I'M NOT A HOSTESS...I'm just standing here!" You need to have a chat with your girls. Seating guests should be about HOSPITALITY, not about what is convenient for the hostesses! Madness!
