- PPatriceLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoBrunch at Bar George was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance perfectly blended modern sophistication with classic charm, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience. The star of our brunch was undoubtedly the lobster omelette. This exquisite dish featured Canadian lobster nestled within perfectly cooked eggs, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors. The sweet lobster meat complemented the rich, creamy texture of the omelette beautifully. The scrambled eggs with their special sauce were a pleasure for the palate. The velvety texture of the eggs paired wonderfully with the unique sauce, elevating this simple dish to new heights. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we indulged in the pain perdu. This heavenly creation was perfection on a plate - generous, warm, and topped with an amazing caramel syrup. The brioche, soaked in a warm custard, melted in our mouths, while the caramel added just the right amount of sweetness.More infoBar GeorgePrice: Expensive• British• Downtown•4.6

- JJeffVirginia •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoModavie is rock-solid. There's even some rock involved. Well, on this particular evening it was a 20s scat band, and a talented one at that. But for tables like ours, seated right next to the band, you'd better love that music--or whatever music's on offer--or you're going to be trying to talk over the band the whole time. Not entirely pleasant. But onto the pleasant things: A lot of emphasis on lamb dishes, wow. But for those of us who ordered it, the dishes were en pointe. Some pasta dishes on offer, with the cavatelli firing on all cylinders. Great wine selection: We landed on two French 2018s, Alain Brumont's Chateau Montus (an absolute treat), and a Rothschild stablemate, Chateau Clarke (still young and brooding, but with distinguishable excellence-in-waiting). Service was very attentive and helpful. Ambiance, aside from the seating right next to the upright bass player, was fantastic. This was actually my second day in a row at Modavie; the day prior I sat at the bar near the front entrance of Modavie. Loved that side of the restaurant as well. Great and kind service at the bar then, too. This is a will-go-back, will-recommend Montreal staple. If it's not an Icon, it ought to be. The team at Modavie knows how to deliver a rich experience.More infoModaviePrice: Expensive• French• Old Montreal•4.7
- VMVickyMMontreal / Quebec •3 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 30, 2024The service was amazing; however, I did not like the fact that they rushed us because they overbooked. Hence, only allowing us 2h for a birthday celebration.More infoEnoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna - LachenaiePrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Lachenaie•4.5
