Good meal nice atmosphere good value Would recommend

As usual Chapter One served us a delicious lunch, well cooked and presented. Staff get more efficient every week and as regulars we get excellent, friendly service. Families around us seemed equally pleased.

This is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant in a secluded location. We have been here for a number of great meals. It’s part of a very exclusive retirement property and has been opened up to the public in order to keep it utilised. The service is exceptional, often there are at least 1 member of staff for every 2 customers. The waitresses are lovely and keen to make sure you enjoy Food ranges from exceptional (fish and chips, most deserts, vegetarian) to a bit average (fatty lamb chops, bread and olives). It really depends on what you choose. I recommend everyone gives this place a try, so lovely to avoid chain restaurants and have something a bit different.

Met friends for Sunday lunch. The food was nice and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was quiet, and the table area was clean and tidy.

Good pub food. Nice and hot and decent sized portions. Very friendly staff. Some good additional to the wine list.
