Pammy’s is a New American restaurant inspired by the feel of an Italian neighborhood trattoria. Perched between Cambridge’s Central and Harvard Squares, Pammy’s is a cozy yet sophisticated neighborhood destination. For husband and wife team Chris and Pam Willis (who live right up the street), Pammy’s is an extension of their living room. They’ve brought together their love of great food, easy hospitality and chic vibes to create a lively space that is welcoming to all looking for a memorable meal. With dishes that lean heavily on Italian flavors but are not restricted by any rules of the cuisine, the food is unpretentious and delicious. A fireplace wrapped in white ceramic, an oversized salvaged communal table designed for side-by-side dining and rich leather banquets are just some of the design elements that make up Pammy’s charm. We're currently serving a Prix Fixe menu for all reservations. A la carte dining is available for walk-in guests at our bar and in our lounge.

The Merchant is a big space that served for more than a century as a leather store. We've brought in high-top tables near the windows ... a 40-foot bar on one side of the room … and more formal dining spots on the opposite side. We have a semi-private dining room in back, and another private dining room downstairs. For our menu, we make almost all of our fare from scratch. Executive chef Ignacio Lopez previously worked at both Beat Hotel in Cambridge and Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington. Chef Lopez cures and smokes all the meat in house. Our burger is top-notch, as are other dishes like house-made Gnochhi, Roasted Organic Chicken Breaks, and Steak Frites. The Merchant serves salads, sandwiches ($12-$19), and more for the lunch rush. And for dinner, we are a full-service brasserie (with most entrees ranging from $22-$28). The bar has 30+ rotating beers on tap, many of them locally brewed, plus a full selection of craft cocktails to serve our patrons, including the after-work crowd.

This was our second visit to the new Eastern Standard before a Red Sox game. Thrilled that the restaurant is back in business!!!! Loved to see many of the food items from the first restaurant remain on the menu with a few new tasty additions. Our meals (food, cocktails, wine) were delicious and our server very personable, professional and attentive. We''ll definitely be back again this Red Sox season!!!

Krasi is on my very short list of favorite restaurants right now. Everything there (the staff, the service, the space, the food and the Greek wines) is SUPERB. The elevated food ensures unique dishes (all are sharable) with unique and delicious flavors and textures. The green onion fritters with its insanely decadent green creamy sauce at the bottom is to die for. We ordered too of those, one as app and one as desserts!

Been there before and hoped to eat out on the roof, but no luck tonight. Inside is attractive but very noisy and sometimes hot. We know Italian bread at Eataly is delicious. We were disappointed to find that bread is no longer complimentary AND (wait for it), butter is $2! The whole fish was the best dish, and the burrata was delicious, but the asparagus listed with it was scarce, cut in pieces and mostly stems. I remember the fantastic rabbit ravioli of the past and the good choices in the restaurants downstairs, so will limit my visits to the lower level. Our waiter said they charge for the bread down there too. Eataly, don't go south on us!

Enjoyed a meal with associates while in town for a business forum. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Waitress was VERY attentive and knowledgeable. Food arrived in a timely manor and was excellent. We were impressed with the number of staff and how smoothly everything was run. Manager stopped by our table twice checking to see if everything was fine. I highly recommend Earl’s.
