Busby brought 500 cuttings from Europe to Australia and planted them in the Hunter region of Belford, not far from Lovedale.At Saltire Estate, we're committed to providing great quality wine at an affordable price.     Our second visit to this wonderful restaurant in a short period and again it delivered. The food is excellent and great value for money and the service is great as well. If you're visiting the Hunter I would definitely recommend a visit here and don't be afraid of ordering pasta as it's really really good.

    We loved the wine experience. We chose not to have the cheese plate for $35. Nice wines, lovely service. $10 per person to taste was not refunded on purchases, but got 10% discount on wine purchases when joining the free club.

    We dined with our kids and family and had an outstanding experience. We had booked ahead, and the service was excellent - the staffs were polite, professional, and took the time to explain the menu to us. Every meal we ordered was delicious, and we truly enjoyed our time. Thank you for making it a wonderful family dining experience.

    I take a friend here for her Birthday every year & are never disappointed. Friendly staff, great atmosphere & wonderful food. Worth the drive for a great meal.
