Callenders is a modern , casual style dining bistro. From a romantic meal for two, to a celebration dinner for forty. The best of local produce cooked to order for you. Table tops are bare and minimalist set with condiments, cutlery and fresh cut flower stems. Believed to date back to the 17th century the Horse & Groom was originally used to house local farmer workers, with the increase in horse drawn traffic using the old Hastings Road the property was utilised to offer weary travellers a place to rest and stable their horse ready for their onward journey. It then, and has to this date, become known as the Horse and Groom . A small group of us all really enjoyed our meal at the Thai Marina. We sat outside under an umbrella with a lovely view of the Harbour. We had the set lunch menu which was excellent and great value.
