Restaurants near Nocho Park Golf Course

We eat at GVG almost every Sunday night. We really enjoy this restaurant because we consistently have a great experience there. Tonight was no different. Our server, Alexis, was friendly and appropriately attentive. We really enjoyed her personality too. GVG makes the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. I crave it during the week…LOL. Tonight, my husband ordered the Iberico pork steak, and it was beyond delicious. I ordered the chef’s selection, a sea bass with a chermoula sauce and other yummy stuff. It was also scrummy!! For dessert, we had the delicious tiramisu. I highly recommend all of the items we ate tonight.

Went for dinner. We started with a cup of golden tomato soup and a salad. Both were very good. We decided on the Cheerwine chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Excellent choice. We were full but decided not to miss dessert. We tried the brownie sundae and the peach cheesecake. Delicious and big portions on both. Our server, Jackie, was great both attentive and personable. Definitely be coming back!

Five special friends celebrated an 85th birthday with a Bistro brunch today. Our table was ready and waiting, and our waitress was accommodating as we finally selected the French toast, shrimp and grits, smoked salmon Benedict, and Bistro breakfast. The relaxed atmosphere was perfect for lots of laughter and reminiscing. Topped off with complimentary profiteroles and a group photo, our brunch was just about perfect.

O.Henry tea is always special. There is a wide variety of both caffeinated and decaffeinated flavors, as well as seasonal offerings. All of the food is delicious and, again, there is a variety of selections from a light tea with scones, to an elaborate “high tea”. As always, the ambience and service make the experience relaxing and leave you feeling pampered.
