Restaurants near Westwood Park

We've eaten at a lot of fine dining restaurants in our life time and this one is one of the best we've been at for a long time. It's situated in a very lovely area of Banner Elk and the drive up to the restaurant is fun. The ambience is impressive. They have a lovely outside dining area and a wine cellar where you would love to spend time. The food is spectacular, the service superb and I would highly recommend. Reservations required and they are only open until October 26 of 2024. We celebrated our anniversary there and it was an event to be remembered for many years to come.

This was our sixth visit. Food, service, atmosphere always top notch, and parking at the door is a plus. Management says they’re working to reduce the noise level. It was not crowded on a rainy Monday night so was not noisy:

Beautiful winding road to get up to restaurant but so worth it!! The food is outstanding with such wonderful mix a flavors and excellently prepared! We started with a nice bottle of wine and the chefs choice appetizer with duck and elk and 2 different sausages! Delicious!!! Then we had the elk Denver leg and the emu!!fabulous!! And the the decadent bread pudding and chocolate mousse!!! Great service as well!! A must place to eat! We drove 1 1/2 hrs each way and it was so worth it!

Birthday dinner party of 10. Food is spectacular! A little pricey but worth it. Beautiful setting and good service.

Beautiful venue on the banks of the Roaring River, which does roar by as you sit on the balcony. The service was friendly and courteous. The server brought only forks and responded quickly to our request for a knife to help with the messy but very good Brie and blackberry sauce sandwich and the shrimp salad sandwich. We enjoyed it and recommend it.
