The food was very good, the service acceptable but the restaurant was very noisy which spoilt our meal.

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience today. The food was absolutely to die for — we savoured every single dish. A special thank you as well for the hazelnut miso recipe, such a kind and thoughtful gesture. We’ve been coming regularly since 2020. We’re French and have lived in the UK for the last 20 years, always searching for la perle rare. I wish we could come more often, but even though it’s about an hour’s drive for us, it’s always worth it. I also wanted to say how much I loved reading your little note at the back of the menu. It made me so happy to see your commitment to stepping away from food systems that harm the environment. It’s a challenge, but if more of us start working in the right direction, it can and will make a difference.

I took my daughter. We had an amazing lunch, the restaurant is lovely I can’t praise it enough. We will most definitely be back.

Highly recommend - the food was absolutely delicious food and expertly cooked and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. You do need to book to ensure you get a table. Well worth a visit and we will definitively be going back.
