Foghorn Brewery was born of a dream to make craft beer the way it ought to be made—from grain to glass all under one roof.The historic building in King Street had been abandoned for several years when we first set foot inside. In that dusty old warehouse, we saw the potential to create something really special.And so it was that Newcastle’s first modern craft brewery opened its doors in April 2015. The town’s industrial roots have played a big part in shaping the unique character of Foghorn Brewery.     The cafe was very busy but the staff were calm and friendly and never look stressed. The food was delivered quicker than expected and as always...was delicious! The Hash was so tasty and my husband was in heaven eating the gf Maple Waffle!

    We all had a great time. Food, drinks and service all excellent. The pricing to enter the feeding enclosure was way over the top though especially when feeding was extra. Also disappointed that there were no beer takeaways available to purchase anymore, excluding growlers. But all in all still a great day and will definitely return.
