Kip & Nook — Eat, Drink, GatherNestled in the North Yorkshire countryside just outside Darlington, Kip & Nook is home to two distinct dining experiences under one roof.The Workshop is our relaxed, all-day spot for brunch and wood-fired pizza. Brunch runs Monday to Sunday, 8:30 am–2:00 pm, serving fresh-baked pastries, cooked breakfast favourites, lighter bites, and great coffee. From 5:00 pm–9:00 pm Monday to Wednesday, The Workshop switches to dinner service with our famous homemade pizzas, sides, and specials — dine in or take away back to your cabin. The Workshop is dog-friendly, with a pool, ping pong, and darts to enjoy alongside your meal.Albertos Farmhouse is our Italian farmhouse restaurant, open Thursday to Sunday, 5:00 pm–9:00 pm. Expect hand-stretched pizzas, fresh pasta, and shared plates built around seasonal ingredients, good wine, and long, unhurried evenings. Please note Albertos is not dog-friendly.

The Crathorne Arms is a great pub in a wonderful community spirited village, lovely people, Lord Crathorne himself couldn’t be more supportive, how lucky we are.Our life has come a full circle from a town pub in Middlesbrough (well Eugene has) to the tontine (McCoys Hotel, Restaurant and Bistro) to a village pub in Crathorne, Ten Minutes from Middlesbrough.We live above the pub, our furniture and furnishings live downstairs as they can’t and won’t fit up the stairs! So the canoe has the condiments, the bookcases our books, the huge sofa with big squashy cushions to sink into, tin lanterns reflecting patterns on the ceiling, this all makes for a homely feel and that’s what we would like to create along with good wholesome food and drink.Of Course the staff, front of house and kitchen are all great, hardworking, smiley, enthusiastic young people and a joy to work with.

    The service was outstanding, we didn't have to wait long to be served, our drinks arrived in a timely manner & the food was followed shortly after, our food was absolutely beautiful, it just melted in the mouth, would highly recommend to anyone.
