Really attentive staff on a very busy night! Also they have one of the best burgers I’ve had! I heard about it, and it didn’t disappoint. Took my drink outside to the fire pit area after dinner to enjoy live music - fantastic atmosphere! Very nice night

Ballards sunset special is the best deal on the island. i seldom write reviews. we ate at several restaurants during this past visit, and our dinner at Ballards was exceptional and no comparison to some of the other touristy restaurants.

This is a gorgeous restaurant….literally no detail missed. The nautical decor and upscale touches make it a beautiful space to enjoy dinner! Our server was super friendly, helpful with suggestions and attentive. I also feel like this is a place I can get a fantastic drink and the drinks were spot on! An old fashioned and a perfectly shaken Cosmo! We were surprised at the variety of the menu - lots of solid options including a chicken Milanese, bolognese as well as expected steaks and seafood. We started with clam chowder and my husband said it was the best he’s had all week in BI - loaded with clams! My daughter likes more potatoes…so she enjoyed it but not as much as others. The steak frites was huge and delicious!! With thick steak cut wedge fries. There is a lot of value in that dish! Bolognese was good for a steak house! The filets we had were high quality! We added shrimp scampi to one of the filets and that was also 5/5! We got the crème brûlée which was basic but good, my sons devoured 2 flourless chocolate cakes. Service was slow, but we weren’t in a hurry…so we just enjoyed a great dinner in a beautiful restaurant. We will definitely come back!
