Le Yaca comenzó su andadura en un pequeño pueblo de montaña (Courchevel) de los Alpes franceses en 1964. Daniele Bourderau y Gerard decidieron que sería divertido abrir un pequeño restaurante. Pero el nombre caló entre los clientes, a quienes les divertía el juego de palabras, y contribuyeron a los dichos del restaurante inventando sus propios "yacaísmos": yaca y aller (vamos). Daniele fue a Estados Unidos y abrió Le Yaca en Williamsburg. Daniel Abid compró Le Yaca en 2001. Daniel ha trabajado y se ha formado en lugares tan prestigiosos como "Le Pre Catelan" y "Lenotre" en París, "L'Amandier" y "Roger Verge" y como colofón, "Alain Ducasse".

    Romantic ambience inside a historical home. Attentive service and excellent food. I ordered the risotto wild mushrooms and Parmesan. The rice was tender, creamy, and filling, while the mushrooms and cheese added complexity, earthiness, and saltiness. Austin’s is more than a restaurant. It is an experience.

    The food was good and the atmosphere was excellent. Perfect weather that day so we ate outside. I was surprised the waitress only offered water to drink. Was the bar not open? No soda or tea? That part was strange but everything else was awesome
