Restaurants near Mount Kisco Square Shopping Center

It is so nice to go to The Kittle House for dinner. We were married there 36 years ago and always return on our anniversary for dinner and other special occasions as well as for a nice relaxing drink and dinner in the tap room. We will miss seeing John Crabtree and Gustavo, who we have become friends with after all these years. We wish them both the best of luck in their retirement. It was good to see and talk with Leo. He did introduce us to one of the new owners of the Kittle House. He was a very nice young man who was so polite and gracious for our visit. We wish him luck with their new business and look forward to getting to know them. Our dinner at The Kittle House was great as always. The service is always great there even on a very busy night like tonight when then had a packed tap room, a party in the private room, a wedding ceremony and reception in the back yard and then their usual dinner guests upstairs. The food was great. We had lobster bisque soup and Bluefin tuna pizzetta as appetizers and for our main courses we ordered the the pork chop, short ribs, chicken breast and duck. We had a very good tuscan red wine, Volpaia. For dessert we had pumpkin pie, the apple crumble and the sorbet trio. The Kittle House is a great place to have dinner to celebrate a special day or event. You wont be disappointed. Also the rooms in the inn are very nice if you want to stay over. We have stayed there several times.

We enjoyed our meals. Service is always excellent and the staff are hard working. Will be back!

Stonefire is a favorite, not one meal disappoints, ambiance is terrific, & service is impeccable!

The experience would have been a little easier if the server spoke some English. She could not recommend or describe any dishes or we thought offered my husband to sample of a certain wine but never did. A cell phone kept ringing which was annoying. The food was good but for main dishes could have had a few vegetables with the kebabs. But it was tasty and they gave a complimentary desert. Atmosphere was great for us so it was an enjoyable evening.

We always enjoy the different dishes we have there. The service is also top-notch.
