Restaurants near Monument Avenue Historic District

First time here on a recommendation. We had Katelyn as our server. We were welcomed and taken care of with the utmost hospitality. The selection of food was hard to decide on. Everything sounded amazing. Expertly crafted cocktails and wine selection. Food was outstanding and portions generous, courses timed perfectly. It was clean and bright and perfect. We will definitely come here again.

Experience was outstanding. It was decorated and very festive for the Christmas season. They have a big tree inside and the owner personally took the pics in front. Amanda was awesome and really took good care of us. Food was cooked perfectly and delicious. Definitely suggest for the season.

We arrived about 30 minutes early for our reservation and the hostess suggested we wait at the bar. We found a table and the view of the center of restaurant was absolutely beautiful with the Christmas trees and lights. Service was slow from cocktail waitress and I was disappointed that she brought my husband’s beer in a can and no glassware for the beer. This felt like we were at a college bar. My grapefruit cosmo martini was delicious! We were sat about 10 minutes after our initial reservation time on the second floor rail at a table for two. Again, I just loved our table. Our server was excellent and attentive! We started with soups and each had an entree. The food was excellent! We will be back!

Our appetizers (fried oysters; crab cake) were a mixed bag. Oysters were terrific but the crab cake was subpar. The main dishes (duck breast, Wagyu beef, chicken and dumplings) were good. The brocolini side with my Wagyu beef was overly charred. Service was stellar. There was a quite reasonable prix fixe menu but nothing on it piqued anyone's interest and we ordered off the main menu. The two younger members in our party enjoyed the cocktail menu and ordered seconds. Good and extensive wine list. Desserts were excellent.
