Restaurants near Monterey Square

We picked the 1540 Room after a quick search on Open Table and we were blown away. Our server was incredibly helpful both in selecting dishes and in tips about things to try in Savannah, since it was our first time here. The good was insanely good from the steak tartare to the local catch to the desserts, which were amazing and complex. We would highly recommend the 1540 Room.

Delicious food and drinks. Mushroom bisque is a definite must!! The pumpkin spice martini is a great drink for dessert

Really enjoyed our time here. Our meals were really good. I could t believe how tasty the falafel was. The staff were great to the college students with us. Lots of discounts on offer — 26% off and weekly specials with the wooden marker. Go in and talk with them about it. The sports were on loud speakers, but they gladly turned down the sound a bit so we could talk. We were a party of 10. Received attentive and friendly service. There are reasons why this place is popular. Will be back.

Amazing ambiance, staff and food! My mom and I had more than enough food! I will definitely be back.

We had the most amazing dinner here. My husband had the pork chop with brussel sprouts and adored the sauce. I had the salmon with the beans and loved how perfectly cooked and flavorful everything was. We also had cocktails that we loved and to top it off the performer was amazing. It was a lovely evening and the next time we are in Savannah we will definitely be back.
