Restaurants near Montclair Shopping Center

I dined at Dante with my family (a party of 6) to celebrate a birthday. We are frequent visitors and have consistently had great experiences. As always, the food was amazing -- rigatoni bolognese, squid ink pasta with crab, gluten-free pizza, and two wood-roasted veggie sides to share. Delicious wine and cocktails, too. Our waiter seemed relatively new or nervous. He was quiet, not pretentious, but did not provide the stellar service we're used to at Dante. We had to ask the bartender for water to be refilled, we did not receive serving utensils for our shared side dishes, and he did not thank us for coming in. These are small things, but things I've come to expect from Dante, and -- frankly -- things I expect for a meal that costs more than $300. We will be back, but I hope that next time, the service matches the expectations for a restaurant of Dante's caliber.

Food was excellent and well prepared. They ran out of trout but substituted trout. The filet was cooked to perfection

We celebrated both my parents birthdays tonight and had yet another fantastic meal. Great service and really good value with the quality of food being excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great varied menu. 

Double Anniversary dinner. My husband and myself and our son and his wife weee celebrating. We had a fantastic meal, the restaurant was stunning. Our server Hannah did a fantastic job and was very pleasant and kind. Extremely attention without being noticed. The food was prepared exactly as ordered and we enjoyed it all Dessert was exceptional and we even saved a bit to bring home. Thanks for a great double date Anniversary Dinner.

Date night dinner during Omaha Restaurant Week. Recommend a reservation during busy times. Had reservation for outdoor table but, all were full. Host explained last minute arrivals had taken outdoor tables and one group had even taken an extra table. Manager overhead my comments about our reservation made earlier had specified an outdoor table and she quickly worked to move a table outdoors for us. Enjoyed the Restaurant Week meal options and selected the combination plate. Calamari appetizer was nice. Foccacia bread now served is no comparison to the rolls they used to serve. A $4 upcharge for the Caesar salad seems unreasonable. The minestrone soup was just ok. However, the Chicken Fantasia and Combination Plate were both excellent and adequate portions. Unfortunately, they ran out of Tiramisu just prior to our dessert order, so had to settle for a Canoli sundae. Overall, another relatively good experience and we will return.
