We visited after the Jazz Festival. We loved this place's relaxed feel and the stunning architecture. The scallops with truffle foam were outstanding, and the mozzarella with asparagus and broad beans was refreshing, if a little too chilled. A great sirloin cooked rare as requested, and a tuna steak pink as it should be. Service by Harriet M was great, and wines by the glass were perfect food matches.

First time I have been disappointed with the food, Ragu arrancini lacked flavour and my pasta dish was also disappointing, lacking the quality we are used to. Felt the portion size has reduced.

Brilliant roast, one of the best I've ever had out. Generous and thoughtfully plated. Fresh and beautifully cooked and seasoned. Ambience was great when we got there. An extremely loud table were seated near us before our food came out and we couldn't hear each other until they got their food. With hindsight I could have politely asked a staff member to have a quiet word, but I'm far too polite I guess. I would have hoped maybe someone may have asked them to tone it down. I could see many other diners glancing across at the din. Food took quite a while to come out, but we were fine - if the kids were younger that may have been a bit of an issue, so bear that in mind if you have little ones who get hungry. Needed to ask for the gravy that we had been told was coming, but aside from that everyone happy and pleasant and helpful. Food was spectacular, drinks were lovely, will 100% go again.

A lovely meal. Very good food, not outstanding in Michelin terms, but very nice. Smallish starter portions meant we had room for a pudding. Each course was delicious. The restaurant was nicely busy on a Saturday, with what seemed like plenty of regular diners. A great atmosphere. Staff were all great, polite, friendly and attentive. Would eat here again if we return to the area.
