Restaurants near Meade Stadium

This was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The greeting at the reception desk was friendly, the ambiance was light and airy, the wine list extensive and varied, the menu perfectly crafted, and service by Austin was outstanding. I even got a lovely birthday card signed by the staff and a delicious piece of cheesecake as a present. I just can’t wait to return soon.

Dining at The Mooring is always a treat. We love the view of the harbor and the sunsets never disappoint. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive and gave me great advice on my salmon entree which was beyond delicious. The buttermilk biscuit appetizer was perfectly crumbly and buttery and sweetened with honey. It was huge and we brought half home and enjoyed it with lunch. It would make a great base for a strawberry shortcake. Scallop chowder is always tasty and satisfies. Highly recommend The Moorings.

Service at Trattoria Romana was excellent. The waitress was very personable and accomodating. The rigatoni alla zingara was delicious and the flourless chocolate torte was the perfect ending to the meal. The cosmopolitan was made just right. A great place to have dinner with friends!!

Wish there were more options for entrees: ie, Lamb and Veal chops. What we did order for dinner: My husband had the chowder which he said was very good. We also had the crab ragoon dip also very good. The swordfish was very moist and delicious. I would order it again. The Steak was cooked perfectly, my husband would order it again as well.

Probably the best Lobster Roll my wife has ever had. Huge chunks of lobster and the roll was chock full of meat and delicious taste. I had a 1/2 dozen little necks (YUM) and Linguine and Clams that had another 8 little necks in the bowl. Great taste! The restaurant was short staffed for waiters, so the service was a bit slow, but possibly due to college (URI) being back in session and they lost some of the waitstaff.
