Cooper’s Hawk has excellent food and very good wine! The potstickers were fantastic as was the short rib and the gnocchi!! This is a great experience! The staff is incredible!!

It was awesome! We will be back again next year when we visit world dairy expo. We have added it to our list of favorites.

I had the crab cake appetizer and ravioli appetizer as my dinner. Ravioli could have been hotter. The crab cakes were outstanding as always. The steaks my 3 dining companions had were not doing that sizzling thing when they came to the table so I assume they had not just come off the grill as usual. My wife said the hash browns were undercooked. Rombauer Chardonnay was excellent and a healthy pour but at $26 a glass seemed overpriced when I can get a bottle for $36. Our server Wilton was great! Cocktails pre-dinner in the bar were excellent. I think they were maybe understaffed a bit in light of the World Dairy Expo going on this week. 3 large tables near us were all talking dairy farming. One of the coziest places in Madison to dine. I imagine I will be back again soon.

You really can't beat the ambiance. The view of the capital building, and the delightful food and incredible beverages, its a real experience
