We booking in for dinner before the Ghost tour. We were greeted warmly and shown our table. After explaining the dishes we were left for a reasonable time before being approached for our order. The waitress that night was doing an exceptional job as she was the only one on the floor. The food was interesting, delicious and well plated. We had fun trying something different. The only negative of the entire evening was the noise from the extraction fan in the kitchen, but that didn't detract from the overall dining experience too much.

So happy to see Six Russell listed as one of Tasmania’s top restaurants in The Australian. I’ve been in four times now, and every time it’s been amazing. The parfait and tartare are still my favourites, but this time we had friends in from the mainland and tried the wagyu beef and ‘very good mash’—and both were just utterly perfect. But Order the bread. That’s incredible. And servings were really large. Couldn’t fit in dessert. But couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend and the service is next level.

What a wonderful find! Recommend by family who had enjoyed lunch a few weeks earlier, we ventured down to Dunalley and Bangor Winery. Greeted by Anthony who knowledgeably and humorously took us through their wines. Very good wines indeed. Then it was time for lunch. Superb food, friendly service, great views and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend.

Exquisite flavours and presentation, gorgeous wines and super friendly service!

Wine and beer were excellent. We had 2 small plates with our drinks- lemon pepper calamari and mushroom arancini. These dishes were delicious and we were excited for our mains but 2 of the 3 mains were disappointing. The prawn and chorizo linguini was very good but the chicken breast with polenta was bland and the pork belly overcooked. If we came to this restaurant again we would only order the small plates as these seem to be the best options.
