We ate at Zinc twice during our stay and experienced great service and great food, including vegetarian options. Special shout out to Cherie who served us the second time we visited. She offered great vegetarian advice!

The chef is plainly a cut above what one would expect in this small and understated establishment. His food was deliciously prepared, elegantly arranged on the plate and served with unfussy charm. I was particularly struck by the willingness of the waitress to turn down the music. In restaurants this is often intrusive and inappropriate. To start with it was here too, but on request the waitress immediately turned it down very low. So often such a request meets with puzzlement and refusal, but here it was not. It made all the difference.

Crispy Barramundi a standout dish. Every course was a delight. Negroni cocktails fabulous

The view across the ocean and mountains is stunning - worth the visit for that alone! The beautiful restaurant, amazing food full of the best ingredients and super service made it one of the loveliest restaurants I have ever visited. Thank you for providing this perfect oasis in a sanctuary of nature

The food is amazingly tasty and well cooked, a delicious treat and quite affordable for Port Douglas.
