We always go to The Universal when we visit Galway. It’s one of the best restaurants in Galway. Their menu is eclectic and the food is always phenomenal. Their spring onion potatoes are amazing. They have a great wine and cocktail list too. The owner, Connor, is very friendly and welcoming. We always recommend The Universal to anyone visiting Galway.

A refuge from the traditional (and loved) pub experience. Kirby’s gave us an opportunity to have conversation without being crowded. Dinner food was comparable to a great NYC experience but in the charm of Galway!
