Staff were excellent. Setting was quiet and intimate and very relaxing.
The pumpkin risotto was sublime where the scallops were small, not properly seared and lacking of flavour.
Turbout was delicate although slightly over done.
Dessert hit the spot. It was light and refreshing.
Be warned, The Tavern’s menu is pretty extensive – choosing could be your biggest challenge. Rest assured you won’t go too far wrong though.
