Our group of four agreed that the experience we had at Longplay Bistro was absolutely superb. The front of house staff/owners were friendly, service was attentive, and the space itself was beautiful, with heavy curtains to help with noise absorption. Tables were well spaced and the music playlist was great, 60’s through to 80’s jazz and Motown. The menu was adventurous and sophisticated with all the hallmarks of great French bistro food, excellent steak and fish. The highlights were the snapper and the ox tongue. The wine list was concise and well curated. This restaurant is the complete package, a lovely place to be with great service, food and wine, something that is not always easy to find. We’re from Melbourne and we will make a point of coming back.

Food was excellent as usual but the wine list is a disaster. If we wanted cheap wines we wouldn’t be dining at Shiki’s. The best wines were unavailable due to ordering issues and the only choices were in the $20 dollar range from the local liquor store. Need to offer premium wines and make sure they are available. Overall the food was excellent, service was excellent but the lack of quality Red wines let the experience short of our expectations. We have been dining at Shiki’s for over 25 years and this is the first time we have been disappointed. Hopefully management listen and update the wine list with quality wines.

Delicious food, excellent value for money, very attentive service, and outstanding view. We went for lunch where they have an express lunch offering- 3 choices for each of the 3 courses. All looked wonderful, and we will be back to try out all the combinations!

Love this place. Great staff. Always visit when in town. New menu was great. Highly recommend the corn ribs, barramundi and mushroom XO fried rice. Divine!

Fantastic First Time experience at the Lemongrass Thai. Would take business professionals there for after work casual or informal dining.
