There are spaces suitable for small group dining as well as a spacious open area above our main dining room that is perfect for functions, whether it be intimate or large. The highlight of our function area is the enclosed balcony & bar that is an ideal setting for gatherings.

The front of house staff/owners were friendly, service was attentive, and the space itself was beautiful, with heavy curtains to help with noise absorption. Tables were well spaced and the music playlist was great, 60’s through to 80’s jazz and Motown. The menu was adventurous and sophisticated with all the hallmarks of great French bistro food, excellent steak and fish. The highlights were the snapper and the ox tongue. The wine list was concise and well curated. This restaurant is the complete package, a lovely place to be with great service, food and wine, something that is not always easy to find. The best wines were unavailable due to ordering issues and the only choices were in the $20 dollar range from the local liquor store. Need to offer premium wines and make sure they are available. Overall the food was excellent, service was excellent but the lack of quality Red wines let the experience short of our expectations. We have been dining at Shiki’s for over 25 years and this is the first time we have been disappointed. They acknowledge that there was a bit of a problem with service, kudos to them! We went for lunch where they have an express lunch offering- 3 choices for each of the 3 courses.
