Suecat's is in the beautiful downtown historic district of Berryville , VA. Chef Tyler Sponseller's menu is inspired by his southern roots and the excellent home cooks he grew up with as well as the noteworthy chefs he has been fortunate to work with since his time in culinary school. His unique spin on such favorites as his Fried Green Tomatoes, his Signature Shrimp and Grits ("the best I've ever had" is often heard), Seared Scallops with Cauliflower Soubise, Wilted Tuscan Kale, House Bacon, Balsamic Reduction, and Lemon Zest are well known and loved! "Southern Cuisine With Just A Touch Of Fine Dining Mixed In" is our description. Suecat's has laid back, casual, small town atmosphere. Our Beer and Wine list has an emphasis on, but not limited to, some of the locally produced products. This also holds true for our food menu. Most of our meats and vegetables are sourced from farms right here in Clarke County. We are only 60 miles from DC and even closer to the VA, MD, and WV suburbs!
