"Took advantage of restaurant week. Had the lunch special. Choice of Four appetizers we tried two Both good four entrees we tried lamb-excellent- and “Goan”shrimp curry. Which was sour but otherwise ok. Came with a rice pilaf of sorts and delicious fresh naan. Desert included ras malai which is where we always stop
Service was cheerful, prompt, and competent
Of note, they have “1947” beer. Which is ideally suited to Indian food: cooling, not filling and many non-beer drinkers like it"See more
"I went during Restaurant Week at the earliest opening time (11:30am) on a Monday.
I was the only one there, it was very nice for me. The waitperson was very nice and highly competent.
I got the Pengang duck, the roti with dipping curry, and the rice pudding. I also got (to-go) a massaman curry and a sticky rice dessert.
I highly recommend them. They have a lot to offer and they have a lovely ambiance (on a quiet 11:30am Monday).
I especially recommend it for a date-dinnerr/lunch during HVRW because it's a great deal."See more
"We came for dinner during restaurant week. The food was excellent and the price reasonable. We were there fairly early on a week night and only thr front section of the restaurant was occupied. It could be noisier on a busier night."See more
