Restaurants near Luftseilbahn Schattdorf Haldi

12 years ago, La Taqueria was the ONLY authentic Mexican restaurant. I was born and raised in Texas, moved here in 1997, and had tried all the so-called Mexican food restaurants (Tres Amigos comes to mind) and they were an utter joke. (ordered chicken fajitas (ok, Tex-Mex) one time and got a grilled chicken breast; when I complained, the waitress argued with me about whether or not that was correct) Nowadays, there are a dozen or more Mexican restaurants and even though I have not tried them all, I can safely say La Taqueria is still the best. From food to friendliness, ambience to authentic surroundings, La Taqueria is the only one for me.

Second time at The Restaurant at The Chedi did not fail as expected. The food selection and quality as well as the taste were pleasing. I had the slow cooked beef with pepper sauce and rice. My son picked from the kids menu which was pretty interesting too. Service was impeccable and attentive. Will visit again whenever I end up in Andermatt.

Our service was fantastic. The twin chefs were so good at informing and explaining each dish. The food was Japanese with a delicious French flair. The Norway Lobster and the Japanese A5 wagyu were our two favorites. For my son’s birthday it was four special desserts and chocolate cake. Thank you for making it so special. We can’t wait to return to the hotel and this amazing restaurant.
